The area around Freiburg has been one of the most attractive regions in Germany for us for some time - and not just because Maloja Managing Director Klaus Haas grew up in the Black Forest himself: bikes are one of the most popular means of transportation for Freiburg residents, the legendary trails end right in the city, the Feldberg rises up behind them and the Swiss Alps are not far away either.

In March 2025, Isa and Daniel Kugler took over the popular destination for outdoor and sports enthusiasts, now with the new name „Mountain Soul“. Both are deeply rooted in the city of Freiburg, the Black Forest and - of course - Maloja.
