UNDYED STREETWEAR
OR WHY VANILLA ICE CREAM IS NOT COLORLESS
Processing materials as naturally as possible and seeing their value and beauty in this is certainly a step in the right direction.
Creating something new out of an old tradition. That’s what we’ve always liked. So, in 2019, we used unbleached and undyed fabrics for the first time for our Hemp Bags, which we handed out at trade fairs and in our flagship stores - all of them „undyed“. In our GOOD MORROW spirit, we have now dedicated a series in the collection to natural fibers and turned them into high-quality garments.
The processing of undid materials saves the resources of water, chemicals and energy required for bleaching and dyeing processes. Clothing that is largely left in its natural state is a contribution to reducing the ecological footprint.

Not every material is as suitable for undyed processing as cotton or hemp. And not everyone has that warm vanilla tone with black specks like the organic cotton we love to use in our streetwear - reminding us of our beloved vanilla ice cream - thanks to the dark seed husks that sometimes remain in the fabric.

With our Undyed styles we can give up chemical treatment of fibers completely. The raw material is washed to remove grease and other impurities - that’s it!
