CO2 EMISSIONS

As outdoor sports enthusiasts, we share a love of nature. To do our bit to protect our environment, we have joined the Science Based Target initiative (SBTi). The SBTi is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis.

The SBTi has approved Maloja’s near-term science-based emissions reduction target. By 2030, 42% of our company-related emissions are to be reduced in relation to the base year 2020.


Since 2020, we have been working with an external partner to calculate our carbon footprint. We are initially measuring and reducing emissions around our headquarters.

Some changes and actions have already contributed to reducing our emissions. We have been heating with wood chips instead of oil since 2021. In addition to that we have switched from conventional to 100% green electricity.
