LA VIA \ DESIGN & GRAPHIC
Continuity - Beauty of Imperfection - Perspective
In the development of LA VIA's philosophy, we have come across recurring patterns that have inspired us to create different designs. These recurring thoughts and insights are often the basis of our inspiration for the concrete realization in design. For LA VIA, we focus on three visual phenomena that are reflected in different ways in the designs of this collection.

CONTINUITY IN LA VIA

It has been 20 years since our initial collection hit the market. Our journey has been marked by mountainous ups and downs, twists and turns, by dedication and unwavering determination – it is anything but a straightforward line. In LA VIA we are utilizing the One Line design element, drawn in one continuous take, demonstrates how an image emerges particularly from those winding bends. Yet, the One Line also captures our perseverance, how we have always remained steadfast in our values – and we will keep doing so moving forward.

BREAKING THE GRID
Vibrancy, vigor, energy, uniqueness – all of this emerges from what may appear raw, flawed, unfinished. In LA VIA, we celebrate the beauty of imperfection. With, for example, our torn grid pattern that disrupts the monotonous, polished perfection to create a powerful dynamic.

COINCIDENTALLY BEAUTIFUL
The same applies to the gradient watercolors and designs such as the colorful bubble background, which was created in the creative workshops with the children of our employees.

In the eye of the beholder: New Perspectives
It depends on how you look at it – a statement that holds a lot of truth. Thus, we decided to spread our wings and take a closer look at ourselves from a bird’s-eye perspective. Viewing the aerial shots of our company's headquarters we were struck by their graphic effect. So, we outlined the fields for our collection label – only to discover that collectively they resemble a flower. And this led to the design of the individual flowers in the Fieldflower print in a slightly altered, somewhat reduced style.
