Maloja’s initial plan was to release a mountain bike collection in the summer months and then spend winter deep powder snowboarding. Yet, it didn’t take long for us to realize that we wanted to design apparel for all the sports that we love and that define us. We are snowboarders and hikers, road cyclists and ski tourers, climbers and gravel bikers. We love exploring the mountains in all the various ways – and thus (with a hint of self-interest) we set out to craft the right equipment for us.

Our origins are rooted in mountain biking. Two decades ago, surf brands were the ones integrating the sport’s lifestyle into everyday life. For us trail surfers, things were different. The apparel seemed uninspired, lacking the style and soul we craved for.

Especially in such an emotional sport. We wanted to express our identity as mountain people, wanted to live our bike lifestyle on the singletracks and in our daily lives, on the mountain and in the cafés.

We want to provide the perfect gear for people who love to venture into the great outdoors, whether for sports or simply for unwinding. Our values go beyond rock faces, cross-country ski trails, or singletracks. We embrace all the different ways of engaging with nature. They allow us to see things from a different perspective and gain new insights.
